Privacy statement

Last updated: 19 August 2026

Teamigo (teamigo.nl) helps sports teams manage their schedule and attendance. To do that we process personal data. This page explains what we process, why, and what rights you have. Questions? Email info@teamigo.nl.

What we process

Account: your name, email address, encrypted password and an optional profile photo.

Team and attendance: your team memberships and role, your attendance for matches, training sessions and activities (including any notes), results, statistics, lineups, tasks and the driving schedule.

Roster players: a team admin (the amigo) can add teammates without an account by name. That name is only visible within the team and can be claimed by the player later.

Guest access: if you use a guest link, a cookie remembers which name you chose and whether you entered the optional PIN correctly.

Notifications: your email preferences per team and, if you enable push notifications, a push subscription from your browser or phone.

Technical: functional cookies (login, active team), your display preference (light/dark, stored on your device) and brief server logs for security and debugging.

Why, and on what legal basis

We use this data solely to make Teamigo work: showing the schedule, tracking attendance, informing teammates via email and push notifications, and securing the service. The legal basis is the performance of our agreement with you and our legitimate interest in a safe, working service.

We show no ads, use no third-party tracking or analytics, and never sell data.

Visibility within your team

Teammates (and guests with the team link) can see each other's name, attendance and team statistics. That is the core of the app. Your email address is not visible to teammates.

For youth teams, the admin entering the data is responsible for ensuring parents or guardians agree.

Federation connections

If you connect a team to a sports federation (such as Nevobo or NBB) or a calendar link, we only fetch the public match schedule. No personal data is sent to the federation.

Where your data lives

Everything is processed and stored within the EU: hosting at Vercel (Frankfurt region), database at Neon (Frankfurt region) and email via Cloud86 (Netherlands). Data processing agreements are in place with these parties.

Retention

We keep your data for as long as your account or team exists. If you delete your account or a team is deleted, the associated data disappears from the app. Server logs are kept briefly.

Your rights

You can view and edit your data in the app, and delete your account there as well. For other requests (such as a copy of your data), email info@teamigo.nl; we respond within four weeks.

If you disagree with how we handle your data, you can file a complaint with the Dutch Data Protection Authority (Autoriteit Persoonsgegevens).

Changes

If this statement changes, we will update this page. For major changes we will let you know in the app.
